Urban Learning’s purpose is to help build better organisations. Our principal vehicle for this is our unique methodology which integrates action learning with other complementary technologies to make workplaces smarter, better connected and future-focused. Founded in 1996 as M-Power Management Dynamics, Urban Learning changed its name in 2003. The company is located in Hamilton, a vibrant, progressive and rapidly growing centre. We have a significant track record throughout the North Island and in Australia. Our clients range from small rural local authorities to national energy utilities, from universities to a large property development consortium.

We don’t have a pretty values or mission statement hanging on the wall. We just live by three simple rules, all developed from experience:

  • What you see is what you get.
  • We only do what we are good at.
  • We keep our promises, even small ones.

You will notice that the dominant motif of our business is the hexagon. This is no coincidence — the hexagon, or honeycomb, is the only geometric form to occur naturally in nature, and it is enormously strong. Strength and commitment to sustainable natural forms in all aspects of workplace design are central to our view of the world.
